SUMMARY:Decolonial space-holding for Sexological Bodyworkers (online/zoom)
DESCRIPTION:Decolonial space-holding for Sexological Bodyworkers\n\nwith Da
na Reina Téllez\n\nThis is an offering for sexological bodyworkers holdin
g spaces of somatic\, sensual and sexual exploration in shape of 1:1 sessi
ons or in group contexts.\n\nThe intention of this lab is to offer an intr
oduction and a deeper dive for those longing for community\, guidance and
structure to learn more about anti-racism and decoloniality as living pr
actices and make their first steps towards weaving social justice into th
 e spaces they offer &amp\; hold.\n\nWe will journey together for 12 weeks\
, having a 2-hour call every week for the first five sessions of introduct
ion and then deepening into a live call every two weeks.\n\nDuring the dee
pening period\, you will receive further material to fully engage with and
deepen in reflection &amp\; practice in between the live calls.\n\nI am o
ffering this lab\, committed to the need of awareness around how strongly
coloniality lives in the way(s) that many spiritual and somatic practices
are taught and shared in the west\, specially within predominantly white c
ircles. From personal experience\, this includes the field of sexological
bodywork. \n\nMany of these ways\, and almost always unintentionally\, pe
rpetuate separation and often cause deep harm\, especially to non-white fo
lks in "conscious" or "healing" spaces.\n\nOver my past nine years of spac
e-holding\, I've grown in a deeper knowing that the ability to notice syst
ems of oppression is essential to (co)creating true transformational space
s that are serving ALL of life.\n\nWorking at the intersections of embodim
ent\, spirituality and social justice\, you will be guided to lovingly exp
and in the discomfort and softly move through the resistance to meet the i
mprint of internalised white supremacy (e.g. constant sense of urgency\, f
ear of open conflict\, or hyper individualism) in the body and in the way
you might create\, invite and hold spaces.\n\nI will offer a space for inf
ormation to flow\, not only in form of words and theories\, but also where
somatic experience supports the learning and where my guidance can be a l
iving example of practicing decolonial space-holding.\n\nMy focus of work
is not to show "quick fixes" on how to "do it right"\, but rather offer a
space to expand in humbleness and curiosity\,  in order to perceive and a
cknowledge the fear and the separation our current paradigm is built upon
and the impact this has on our erotic being ans sexual/sensual experience.
From this place of deeper recognition\, we can discover decoloniality as
practice and antidote for our (sex) lives and (co)creations.\n\nSome of th
e methods we will practice are: guided movement and meditation\, transrati
onal input\, journaling\, ritual work. The further material includes guide
 d somatic practices\, reading material and story-telling.\n\nThis online l
aboratory is dreamt and woven\, based on my personal experience as a facil
itator and sexological bodyworker of afro-indigenous and european decent h
olding spaces around transformation\, sexuality and artistic expression\,
focused on decolonial practices and eco-social transformation through embo
diment. \n\nHere you can read about the living lineage of the wisdom I sh
 are: https://lenta-menta.info/lineage/\n\nTOPICS WE WILL EXPLORE: \n\n E
