SUMMARY:Collective voice lab: Feel your voice
DESCRIPTION:English below...\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nFEEL YOUR VOICE\ncollective voic
singen\n- Abschluss: Stimmbad\n\nfür wen?\n\nFEEL YOUR VOICE richtet sic
 Lasst uns zusammen singen.\n\n1x monatl.
 n. Ich habe u. a.
 _____________________________________________________________________\n\n&
nbsp\;\nWould you like to tone\, sing\, and gently listen inwardly to your
body?\nI invite you to join me on a journey of vocal exploration\, where
through imagination and movement we will discover and practise sensing dif
ferent spaces and qualities within our inner sound world.\nWe will explore
different somatic approaches to the voice. The focus is on the joy and cu
riosity of the process. This means practising how to shift our attention a
way from the outcome and our expectations. We practise unlearning the (i
nner) pressure to sing "beautifully" — whatever that may mean — in ord
er to give ourselves permission to sing at all. Instead\, we turn towards
the diversity of sound qualities and\, with openness\, wonder and playfuln
ess\, become witnesses to the unfolding of our voices.\n\nWhat does an eve
ning look like?\n– arriving somatically in the body\, in the space\, and
with the others\n– coming together in a circle for a short check-in\n
 – connecting with the breath through gentle movement sequences\n– toni
ng and exploring how images\, movements and sensory stimuli can transform
and enrich the voice\n(among other things\, we will work with sandpaper\,
balloons\, painter's plastic sheeting and straws)\n– collectively creati
ng a sonic web and moving within it\n– improvising together and offering
group support for improvisational solos\n– trying out and singing a son
 g together\n– closing with a sound bath\nWho is it for?\nFEEL YOUR VOIC
E is for experienced singers who are curious to expand the range of their
sound through a somatic approach and who are open to discovering new pers
pectives on the voice beyond the techniques they have practised.\nIt is eq
ually for people without any specific vocal training who simply enjoy sing
ing. All that is required is the desire — and a little bit of courage
 — to explore your voice.\nYour voice is welcome here exactly as it is ri
ght now — with all its quirks\, possibilities\, changes and particularit
ies.\nQueer people\, as well as people whose voices are changing or who ar
e in transition\, are explicitly welcome.\nAre there any movements or posi
tions that are not possible or comfortable for you? Feel free to mention t
his when registering\, so that I can prepare suitable variations and adapt
ations.\nMusic can soothe\, connect us and make us braver.\nLet's sing tog
 ether.\nOnce a month · MONDAYS · 6:30–8:30 PM\n20 € Drop-in / 50 €
  3x series\n//\n\nAbout me\nI'm Leo — agender\, queer\, white\, and chal
lenged by chronic pain and burnout.\nI started singing jazz at the age of
16 and\, through working with various teachers\, had the opportunity to ex
plore vocal training approaches including Estill\, Complete Vocal Techniqu
e and the Lichtenberger Method.\nI studied Musicology at Humboldt Universi
ty of Berlin\, Contemporary Puppetry at the Ernst Busch University of Appl
ied Sciences\, and Dance at HZT Berlin.\nThe singing voice\, the speaking
voice\, the sound of the voice — exploring and sensing the body permeate
d by vibration and its presence is a central focus of my work.\nI continuo
usly explore my expressive range through intuitive\, reflective and moveme
nt-based approaches to the voice\, as well as somatic approaches informed
by the nervous system.\nVoice has played an important — and not always e
asy — role in my life.\nFrom the very beginning\, I was accompanied by a
lot of self-doubt and insecurity. I desperately wanted to sing "beautiful
ly"\, and wanted other people to love my voice and be moved by it.\nTo thi
s day\, I find it difficult to practise alone. There have also been diffic
ult periods in which I quite literally lost my voice and was unable to sin
g at all. And yet\, this deep longing to sing has never left me.\nMy way b
ack to the voice\, again and again\, has been through dance\, through the
body\, through sensing and listening inwardly\, through making music toget
her\, and through singing in nature.\nFor me\, singing is a place of longi
ng.\nWhen we sing together\, a sense of connection emerges beyond words\,
and we become more open to being touched and moved. I deeply believe in th
 is — and it is something I want to share.\n\n&nbsp\;
