Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

In the past, we have held bilingual Sexological Bodywork trainings, but since recent we have decided to focus on German speaking training. We do not finally exclude the possiblity to have an English speaking training in the future, but currently there are no precise plans.

We are trying to offer an English speaking Sexological Bodywork introductory course from time to time. You can scroll through our event calendar to see if there is any coming up. The event calendar might also show other related workshops in English language.

You can sign up for our newsletter to be informed as soon as new introductory courses are available.

On this link you can find a list of international Sexological Bodywork schools, a few of them offering trainings in English.

Another way to get to know Sexological Bodywork is to book a 1-on-1 session. You can find English-speaking practicioners on the Berlin Network or on trustedbodywork.

It is hard to name a precise suggestion for the required level of language for our German-speaking courses. Your understanding and communication should certainly be good so you are able to follow the course.

Here are some firsthand suggestions by one of our former students:

  • At least B2-1, B2-2 is also good
  • it shouldn’t be just written skills, also focus on the spoken word as the largest part of the on-site training and calls will be spoken

With this the student reported they were catching around 70% of the conversations. This allowed them to get the general idea and not be too lost. There were situations where it was hard to follow.

We believe these experiences are also very individual, but we hope these words help you to get some impression.

If German is not your mother language and you intend to participate in the German-speaking training, we suggest you participate in a German-speaking introductory class (not an English-speaking one). This way you can also try out how it goes for you.
